Quick report

In our pit in Battle Creek with an east facing aspect the snow height total was 115cm from ground to the top of the pit. We did and extended column test With zero failure or propigation. The Christmas layer where the persistent weak layer was has collapsed and is more solid the temp was about 27 degrees f. Partly cloudy with little wind. We did an extended column test which yielded no failure or propagation of the pit

The persistent weak layer that we had under our Christmas ice layer has collapsed and shows no sign of instability at this time
