We were up Broads fork on 3/30 and couldn't help but admire this truck size solid ice block from a recent glide slide. Not sure when it happened other than it was before our new snow on 3/28 and it wasn't on the glide observation submitted on 3/18. Impressive distance traveled as one photo illustrates! Line drawn parallels the gouge mark still showing under new snow. Circled where the piece came from in the other pic as well as showing my partner walking through other large glide debris. Also included my partner dodging large glide clinkers on the Bonkers side.
Wouldn't have wanted to be close to this when it happened but would have been something to see (and probably hear) from a distance. Although unpredictable,'tis the season for these monsters!
