There was a cornice that broke off naturally during a period of wind on Sunday, Dec 15. This resulted in a small avalanche that entrained a bit of faceted snow from the slope below. The slope did not fracture as a slab avalanche.
On the same day, another larger avalanche released just around the corner from the result of the wind. It definitely fractured as a slab avalanche. DETAILS HERE
