Saw this avalanche in the centerpunch of S Monitor around 2:00pm, it was bad visibility all day but got a sucker hole and saw this soft slab that released from a natural cornice drop. The slide was around 200ft wide with a foot and a half crown, ran full track well out onto the flats. It failed from lots of wind loading on a density inversion that I was seeing all day. In non wind loaded terrain the density inversion was about 6 to 8 inches down, denser snow sitting on lighter density, in wind loaded terrain like S Monitor it was over a foot down and stayed reactive throughout the day.
