Quick report
While traveling through trail systems south of Highway 26, we noticed widespread D1 avalanches from 8000' to 9300'. All these avalanches appeared to fail on the new snow/ old snow interface within the last 24 hours. HS at 8000' is ~ 12 inches on the valley floor, and appeared thinner on windswept slopes. At 9100' in Maverick Creek, HS was around 3 feet on the valley floor. Multiple Avalanches were observed at elevations ranging from 8000' to 9300'. The primary aspects were North, however, avalanches were also noted on E, S, and W aspects as well. All avalanches appeared to recent within the past 24 hours.

At the Moccasin Basin trailhead at 11:00 am, the temperature was 24 F. Winds were calm throughout the day with overcast skies.
