Quick report
No propagation in ECT on either north or south aspects. Spring-like, somewhat sticky skiing conditions while we were out. Loose wet point releases but no larger slides observed. We were out for the morning and did not experience any major instability while out, other than at the lowest elevations where the subsurface layers were beginning to decompose right under the melt freeze crust. Loose wet point releases were visible on some slopes.

Clear and very warm (up to >50 degrees in the sun by the time we descended).
Snowpack
At the higher elevations, the snowpack is still relatively solid; the top few inches have a melt freeze crust but snow below that is holding its structure and moisture, not saturated. There are still visible layers and crusts within the snowpack on both south and north aspects, but these have broken down some even compared to last week. We did find some buried surface hoar on a protected north aspect but there was no propagation, and it is also breaking down. At lower elevations, the snow below the crust is breaking down more rapidly.
