Quick report
East facing slope found between 75-85cm average depth of snow. The ground/old snow interface is starting to facet slightly. About 30cm down I found a layer where the new snow from a few days ago is sitting on the snow from 10+ days ago. This new snow must have started as rain because I did not find any of the buried surface hoar I was expecting to see. Overall good bonding between these two layers. Didn’t do a CT or ECT but experienced good stability. Interested to see what happens adding possibly a foot of new snow with high winds tonight and tomorrow forecasted.
