Snowpack

Snowpack appeared mostly right side up, with the exception of a layer of slightly denser snow about 6" below surface that broke as a small soft slab on steep unsupported slopes. Lots of active wind transport of available surface snow and building of wind slabs on lee sides of ridges and terrain features. Exposed south aspect slopes were scoured down to hard ice from late Feburary rain event. Faceted JDL buried approximately a meter deep. Did not propogate in ECT, but popped cleanly with insertion of shovel behind isolated column.
