We noticed this old avalanche on the South side of the East ridge of the Pheifferhorn. It looked to be within the past 72hrs. It was a localized slab from below the cliff face on the SE side of the summit pyramid.
Forecaster note: I entered the date of the avalanche as 3 days ago--just a wild guess just to get it in the database on about the right date.
