Quick report
Snow conditions at the base were stable with hard packed snow 75% of the way up Ball Butte. Observed several small break away avalanches on the east facing cornice of Ball Butte approx 1/3rd mile NNW of the Out of Bounds markers where sleds must stop at the east facing side of Ball Butte. Small avalanches occurred sometime between 8:33 AM and 10:08 AM.

The east facing slope had recent small break away avalanche signs from the cornice. Temp at 10:00 AM was 37 degrees Fahrenheit with 12 kt winds from the ESE.
