We dug a pit to the ground at 10500' elevation on an ENE slope in Cardiac area. There was about 80cm of total snow, half of which somehow seemed like cold powder. The snow crumbled apart in our ECT and did not propagate. Lastly, we were surprised to see no apparent facets in this pit, even near the ground.
