Headed into days fork to check on the snowpack. The average on north facing slopes was 65cm. The snowpack was essentially facet layers with varying strengths with some large 2-4mm facets at the bottom. We experienced a few isolated collapses in shallow areas and only found a cohesive slab on top of the faceted layers in wind deposited zones. Pay close attention once we add more weight to the pack.
