Spotted this avalanche in Upper Butler Basin, it was mid slope and looked fairly fresh. Not sure on the weak layer, it was to shallow to be on the PWL near the bottom of the pack. It might have been on a density inversion or a thin layer of facets that formed between storms? I went well under the rime crust from Sunday.
