Small avalanche on the 40ish degree terrain feature. I couldn't get my camera to work so I didn't get a photo. Close proximity to the skin track. Not sure when it happened. Around 1:00PM the snow below 8500 seemed mostly unaffected by the wind, above that there seemed to be moderate wind drifting occurring in most places with heavy wind drifting occurring on the upper north side of short swing. Strong gusts of wind from the northeast on the top ridge of peak 9269.
