Quick report

No cracking or whumpfing noted. Observed an old crown in the Skier’s Left Bardini chute, though most of the debris had been covered up. Surface conditions ranged from Sastrugi, raised tracks, and wind board to a mixed bag of surface crusts, few of which were pleasant. The skier’s right Tele Bowl contained some soft snow on its left sidewall. Wind effect at low elevations in relatively sheltered areas was among the worst I’ve ever encountered.

Old crown noted at ~9700 feet while touring up the North Ridge of Punta Bardini. I suspect the avalanche ran during the wind event over the last few days.
