Quick report

Cracking
isolated

By the afternoon after the storm the winds had shifted around to the north and were removing snow from the windslabs that had formed during the storm. See video. Walking along the ridge and stepping on the small wind lip of the ridge produced cracking around the skis, but no shooting cracks were experienced. There was still graupel on the snow surface and filling in the track. The new snow was soft and smooth, but there were still thinner spots around rocks and in exposed areas where you would hit the old, firm snow.
