We snowmobiled up the Big Y and for some mellow sled/ski laps on gentler north facing slopes in the alpine. Found nice skiing and 10cm ski pen on settled recent snow with minimal wind effect. Many slopes have exposed rock and shallow features. Above in the higher elevation up the drainage the riding is icy and wind scoured in the valley, with much nicer snow on the glaciers. Some slab avalanche debris on steeper north slopes. Sunny, mild and calm day.
