Quick report
It was a gorgeous bluebird day out in the northeast side of the forecast area. There is about a foot of snow at the Deer Mountain Snow Park that quickly increases as you ride down the 19 road. The first one and a half miles of the road away from the parking lot are being plowed for timber harvest so you must ride along the side of the road. Beyond that point there is about three feet of snow on the road and the riding is steady and reliable from there on out. Below and the upper end of near treeline elevations will hold a crust tomorrow morning as the clear evening will allow for a refreeze of today's softened surface snow. This melt-freeze crust should soften up quickly as the sun rises and will be unobstructed by clouds.

Snowpack
Snow surfaces below treeline were soft, damp, and made for supportable snowmobiling. Near treeline snow conditions ranged from dry, unconsolidated snow to heavily wind affected sastrugi. Isolated surface instabilities in the form of roller balls were limited to to solar road cuts.
