Quick report
The new, high-density, "Shasta-plasta" snow showed few signs of instability this morning. Moderate W-NW winds with strong gusts facilitated wind transport, though only minor cracking in isolated, previously wind-drifted features was observed. The new snow has covered up some previously wind-drifted features near treeline. A decrease in wind speeds from yesterday coupled with the high density snow allowed for fairly uniform coverage on the ridge up to 8700' and possibly higher though poor visibility limited above treeline observations. Instability was limited to minor cracking on previously wind-drifted features.

Light snowfall with a rising snow level throughout the morning. Light winds BTL. Moderate W-NW winds with strong gusts NTL.
Snowpack
~4" of dense, moist snow below treeline transitioned to drier snow at ~7600'. Near treeline, 1-2" of new snow rested atop a stout crust. Isolated deeper pockets (12"+) of wind-drifted snow exist.
