Strong wind coming from the WNW transporting snow into left gulley. Large amount of wind loading/wind slab (thigh deep) ~ 1/3 of the way up left gulley. Was getting some shooting cracks, and thinner parts of the slab were breaking off under the weight of a skier. The wind loaded section seemed to be largely unconsolidated and was not bonding well to the scoured hard snow beneath it. Very poor skiing conditions (expected) and poor impression of stability.
