Weather
Generally sunny, windy to gusty at the ridge line then calm in the early afternoon. At and slightly above freezing temps.
Snowpack
Dug test pit at approx 8600' on a NE facing sheltered 16 deg slope. HS 165cm. Christmas crust present at approx 95cm. CT and ECT performed. Graupel layers 30-40cm down produced resistant breaks without propagation.
