Cracking and wumphing of various wind slabs along the face (some of which were not at all obvious prior to travel). No propagation due to low angle of the face. Snow would break away in a cohesive slab to the faceted snow at the base. Snow was extremely variable when traveling laterally up the face. Snow would change from breakable crust to powder to moderate cracking and wumphing with every step while breaking trail, all within 100 lateral feet. Some wind slabs would break while others were very stiff.

Cracks observed would break to the base which was completely faceted and terribly weak.
