Observation: Short Swing

The well preserved, large surface hoar was a notable observation in this area and I imagine it could be found in other sheltered mid elevation areas that may be normally considered lower risk for backcountry travel. Exercise caution! A fairly fresh avalanche was observed that a prior party triggered (intentionally?), the exit track was located on the flank.
