Observed natural morning of Thursday, Jan 5. Looked like new snow but hard to tell from afar. Significant wind loading observed during our entire tour - lots of hard wind slabs 1-2' deep on E & NE aspects. Skiing into SE Cardiff face, we ski cut a suspect pocket that loosened a 20' x 150'-long x 8", slow-running sluff. (Forecaster Comment: Second photo from Derek which was submitted in a separate observation.)
