Plan A of the day was to try Mt Bourgeau, but the coverage below treeline was lower than we had hoped for. Went for a tour up Monarch Ramparts instead. Great snow in the alpine still, we enjoyed a steep run down from the ramparts in the late morning. Good travel conditions all day but deteriorating as expected with wet snow in the afternoon and at lower elevations. No instabilities noted.
