Quick Observation

Skied East facing run. 15-20cm of new snow since last Friday. Evidence at treeline of some wind during or after the snowfall. CTM(18), CTH(21), planar result down 25cm at 2330m. Got an easy result, collapse, down about 15cm on the first test but couldn't get it to repeat in subsequent tests. HS 230cm. No obvious signs of instability on the East slopes. Skied SE facing run. In open areas in the trees there was 10cm of new snow on a breakable crust. Small loose slides occurred on the crust during the last snowfall. Treeline temps around -12C in the mid afternoon.
