Size 2.5 Avalanche hit the highway between 9 and 10am. It looked like it released out of the steep facing high alpine terrain and may have been triggered by rapid rise in temperatures. Air temp a Carcross that morning on the truck the monitor with -18 which rapidly rose to -3 by powder Valley.
