Yostmark L2 Avalanche course. We ascended Talbot Ridge to Talbot Point. We skied N and NW off of Talbot Point. We egressed out of Hungry Creek. During our tour we experienced two collapses, one of the ascent ridge, South facing slope at 8300' and one on a West aspect at 9000' . We dug two pits during our day. The first was on the ascent ridge, 8300', South aspect, 30 degree slope, HS- 120cm, We had no propagation in this pit. Our LOC- N/O interface down 45cm. We also dug on a NW aspect, 8760', 28 degree slope, HN- 175cm ECTP18, LOC- N/O interface which consisted of 2mm NSF. N/O down 55cm. Localized Cracking, two collapses, and propagation in one of our test pits.

OVC, S-1 with pulses of S1 throughout the day. 6-9cm of new snow accumulated by 1300 above 8k’, L snow transport observed, M winds with S gusts. 37F degrees at the Weigh Station at 0800, 27F by 1500.
