Snowpack

Instability Comment

Mid and High elevation leeward slopes will likely have a stiffened storm slab in addition to density change within the new snow. Cornices are at mega status and could act to trigger deeper more dangerous avalanches.

Pit on NE, 9300' under Davenport Hill yielded ECTP12 Resistant Planer down 45cm on graupel on new snow/old snow interface. As water weight continues to stack up this may be a bigger and more likely player. Dry sluffing in the surface snow looks to be pretty active naturally and artificially.
