- <p>Mid and High elevation leeward slopes will likely have a stiffened storm slab in addition to density change within the new snow. Cornices are at mega status and could act to trigger deeper more dangerous avalanches.</p> <p>Pit on NE, 9300' under Davenport Hill yielded ECTP12 Resistant Planer down 45cm on graupel on new snow/old snow interface. As water weight continues to stack up this may be a bigger and more likely player. Dry sluffing in the surface snow looks to be pretty active naturally and artificially.</p>
