Wind effected dense layer 30cm deep lying ontop of softer powder. 65cm long column (was hurrying) ripped across at four wrist taps, with no obvious weak layer, just less dense snow underneath. More force ripped to 40cm. Note: bit of a unique slope (NE aspect) a windloaded bulge in the lee of general southerly windloading from a cornice but on the windward side in the last strong winds coming from the west or even a bit WNW. The slope was skied (max 30-35 degrees) with no signs of avalanching. In photo, this is referring to the right hand slope
