Quick report
Toured around Southern WF Range today:
- 5-6 cm of new snow was a nice refill after the past few days.
- Small wind drifts and dunes on steep open SE aspects were mostly unreactive to the weight of a rider.
- Found generally stable conditions across all aspects and felt comfortable on steep convexities and slopes.
- Equinox melt/freeze crust is about 25 cm below the surface in most locations.
- By early afternoon even North facing surface snow was getting wet with rollerball and tree bomb activity increasing.

fog in the AM transitioned to broken cloud cover by early afternoon. several S-1 graupel showers throughout the day with light winds out of the SW. Temps increased above freezing below 5500' by early afternoon.
Snowpack
5-6 cm of new snow overnight with up to 25cm of recent snow in most locations. Medium density snow transitioned to wet snow on the surface by early afternoon below 5500' on all aspects. Equinox crust still supportable on all aspects, especially southern. No new wind slab formation on surface with this new snow.
