Off-day valley-bottom crown-creepin':

• Found crowns from recent natural avalanches on all aspects above 6000'. 
• The Swans (westerly slopes) were messier than the Missions (easterly slopes).
• Countless small slabs and sluffs.
• Maybe a dozen large slab avalanches, a few of which likely failed in the old snow. 
• Assuming most slides on S and W ran on meltfreeze crusts formed during last week's sun. 
• Surprised to not see more large or very large wet loose. 

Will catalog avalanches at a later time.
