Quick report
Travelled up to Gibrlater Ridge. New snow ranged from 5cm-30cm on top of a supportable crust. Test slopes produced small dry loose slides. Snow on the ridge was being transported from the SW building small cornices. Stomping cornices produced dry loose slides running in the top 5 inches. We skied steep north facing terrain with manageable sluffing. Lower in the descent we skied 40 degree terrain where a rider triggered a soft slab that caught and carried him approximately 75 feet. He was neither buried nor injured.
