Quick report
Went to the Swan to see how Northerly aspects were holding up:
- The top 2" of snow has transitioned to moist on NW-N-E up to 6900 feet (upper extent of my travels).
- Below this depth the snowpack remains dry.
- Rollerballs and pinwheels ran naturally in rocky terrain or where trees were shedding snow. They were easy to trigger on steep slopes.
- Did not see any recent Loose Wet avalanches in the immediate area.
- Skinning was gloppy and skiing was sticky.
