Quick report
Open field next to silver creek at 8500'. Dug a pit to see how the new snow has formed up. The last storm gave us 65cm on top of a 3" thick crust. The facets normally found near the ground seem to be starting to bond and act less sugary. Total depth 120cm, ski penatration 25cm, boot penatration 55cm. Weather was somewhat overcast with sporadic flurries all day. Temps below freezing.
