Quick report
While my pride took a hit that my snowfall forecast was inaccurate, I was somewhat pleased to have a little bit of visibility and nice light to observe for some more recent natural avalanches. I guess it is worth noting that while IM reported very little new snow or water today, just a few miles away at the Lucky Shot Mine it was dumping buckets, and the weather station there recorded 3'' of new snow and over 2'' of water. GAH!
Numerous new slides were observed off the Arkose Ridge, including Arkose 1 and 2, as well as some newer slides in Arkose 3 and 4 that overran old debris and made it a bit closer to the road. I was able to make a trip to GPRA to have a look at the gullies above for fresh debris and observed at least three recent avalanches size 2 or larger. Thankfully temperatures look to begin cooling soon and there will still be some moisture to contribute to some more snow before this thing wraps up.

Good visibility with on and off showers throughout my stay. At times rain showers turned into snow and by early afternoon the winds were picking up at lower elevatoins.
Snowpack
Things felt a little drier today on account of a relative lull in precip and some increased winds at lower elevations. That said the snowpack at low elevation is still saturated and isothermic. Flagging and wind-transported snow was observed at upper elevations and numerous recent natural avalanches indicated the continued loading and instability at higher elevations.
