Quick report

Traveled from the lodge to Murphy Ridge. No instabilities felt. The snowpack depth up there ranged from 190-250cm. A strong marine layer killed visibility below 3000’. We dug a pit at -4700’ on SW aspect which revealed a right side up snowpack, w/ a thin soft (fist) layer about 30cm deep that was reacting ECTNH1. Further hand pits higher revealed the same layer, which we could get to sheer on steep unsupported slopes, so we kept our tour to <= 30° and everything felt solid. For testing, on 35° slopes we were able to get slabs to fail by traveling above our skin track. Full profile: app.propagationlabs.com/ob/LLefEEIMxiGgtNSMm6W8
