Clear, sunny day; nominal winds observed.
Snowpack
Test sites were within 30 meters of each other. Snowpack depth at site 2 was 180cm. Four distinct layers were observed at 140, 130, 100, and 90 cm. ETC tests at sites 2 and 3 yielded ECTX. Site 1, slightly less shaded and more open than site 2, yielded ECTP17 on the layer 40cm below the surface. We were surprised by the difference between sites 1 and 2 given the same aspect and elevation.
