The morning was relatively calm with 4 - 6 inches of fresh dry snow. Stuck to low angle slopes and had no issues. Some cracking was observed. In the afternoon we had our first collapse and "whoomf". In the drainage above John Creek there was a avalanche that had occurred recently. By the looks of the snow accumulation in the slide path it was most likely the night or day before. The avalanche we triggered occurred in the drainage due east of the avalanche we saw from the night before. We decided to ski back up and traverse the ridge as it being our safest way out. On the way up we remoted triggered a 3rd slide on the now unsupported slope. This also caused parts of the cornice to collapse at the top of the ridge.

Skier triggered avalanche. 1 Caught and carried. Skier deployed airbag and was able to exit left and was not buried. Secondary slide that was now unsupported came down as well, remote triggered by the party waiting up top. Slide broke above the skier on a convex rollover and propagated wide and far down the slope on both sides. Slide path was 100m+ at its widest point. Crown was 10-12 inches.
