no signs of recent instability, no ski cut results a few turns above the involvement, hand shear results on crust were moderate resistant planar, however very touchy where involvement took place
4 turns down slope where there was a slight convexity triggered stormslab on crust, slab propagated about 15 meters on one side and 10 meters on the other of the skier and started roughly 10 meters above the skier, skier managed to ski to a higher piece of terrain and skied mainly out of the path and got above the debris, lost a ski when it hit a small tree, no injuries, no signs of recent instability before the event, second skier down the slope ski cut a large size one to gain access to the bed surface
