We remotely triggered a significant avalanche while skinning at mid-elevation in Thomas Fork, heading towards the ramp. The slide was wider and ran much further than we would have expected, tried to get photos.
We also observed two avalanches earlier, one that a member of the party actually witnessed.
It was obviously very dangerous. This was enough for us to go home.
