Bald Hills

Wx was quite convective with spats of S1 precip and then blue skies, followed by more precip. A good track up the main trail to Bald Hills. Observed (in the distance) 3 sz 1.5 avalanches, 1 N-facing, the other 2 SW-facing. Crowns appeared to be 100cm thick on all 3 and they appeared fresh, within the last 3 days. Observed no whumpfing or cracking in our travels.
