Quick report
One more time out to BT, it was so good yesterday I was hoping for a lucky Friday the 13th 🍀. Didn’t feel very lucky on the whooped out sled road getting out there… 🤣 Ended up going to the same zone as yesterday out by No Name. Started with the same E-facing line as yesterday, it seemed like anything unprotected with any amount of S exposure was getting a pretty noticeable crust. In this E-facing line with big rock walls at the top for protection, the snow was still good settled pow without much sun affect. Then headed back up towards the ramp, and ran into a couple other folks there, one of whom happened to be the guy who actually found my whippet poles a few weeks back! Crazy random coincidence, love this small bc community. Decided to check out the secondary ramp that’s below and parallel to the main ramp line, never been in that and always wanted to check it out, and it was surprisingly cool. I’m gonna call it the “Mini-ramp”. 🤣 Snow was a little more sun affected there with more sun exposure, so there was a slight crust but didn’t really affect riding. Still some great turns in the Smiley zone below that. Didn't see any signs of current instability, the only bummer being the crust in some areas. Looks like a refresh incoming, definitely could use more!
