Quick report
Strong west winds at 10k' kept snow surfaces cool on exposed ridge-lines, allowing for fast and easy travel at upper elevations. We spotted from afar a sizeable HS-NC-R3-D2.5-O that looked to occur during the early stages of the warming trend this week. Crown heights look to be ~2'-4' in depth. We also observed multiple wet point releases on solar aspects on upper elevation slopes that were sheltered from the wind.
