Quick report
Another specimen of the Mt Shasta Alpine Goose observed at 50/50 in Avy Gulch. Seems a fully rime iced bird survived our most recent storms. It shed its icy shell and was able to self rescue. We watched it fly away, towards the valley to the SE, as we approached. Living to tell the tale.
