Quick report

Primary signs were isolated wet loose activity on solar aspects throughout the region. No significant slab reactivity observed. ~30 cm of recent storm snow sitting on the new/old interface. Clear skies, no wind, temperatures in the mid to high 20s °F. One snowpit on a NW aspect (~100 cm deep) showed ECTX. Snowpack structure was right side up: ~30 cm of decomposing fragments overlying unreactive near-surface facets. At 80–100 cm, a strong ~5 mm melt-freeze crust was present. Traveled with moderate confidence given overall stability, while remaining mindful of wet loose potential on solar aspects. Overall stability was quite good. Main concern remains minor wet loose activity on sun-exposed slopes. A fair amount of tracks from both heli and human powered users.
