There was a clear wind slab crust that we were booting up and around 10,200ft we got worried about how the descent would be if we went went higher. We transitioned and started the descent and within about 100ft we triggered a slab that broke about 10-12inches deep at the deepest point and it ran down a gully. No one was caught but it could have been bad if we had continued into the more committing terrain.
