While summiting the ridge to ski the West Beartrap Aspens, we noticed what looked like a post storm natural, or remotely triggered, avalanche on the northwest slope descending to Desolation Lake. A significant amount of debris was caught in the trees 30-40ft below the crown, but we couldn't see how far downslope it ran due to trees and our positioning.
Throughout our tour we didn't notice any other red flags on the Beartrap side.
