<p>Broken sky cover and light flurries mid morning giving way to a dropping ceiling-increased cloud cover and more consistent PI to S-1 by late morning. Winds were generally light from the south.
At 1970m on a southerly aspect 130cm HS was found. 16cm HN overlies a consolidated 4F to 1F mid-pack, basal composition (lower ~25cm) consists of damp rounding facets. CTs produced RP-PC results with moderate to hard scores at 25 and 45cm below the surface on decomposing layers. Dec 9th crust/facet layer was found at 85cm below the surface and unreactive. No propagation potential was found within any of the layers at the test site.
Noted an old size 2.5, ~1 to 1.5m depth on ENE aspect beginning in lower start zone off ridgeline leading to Mount Schroeder.</p>
