<p>BLT isothermal to about 1000m. New snow becoming moist to about 1450m. Treeline above 1500m dry 10-15cm newish snow over supportive crust. Above track ski shears about 5 cm below crust in softer interface. Alpine, skied west and South quadrants. Wind variable to moderate from Sw but also local effects from se to east including spindrift off cliffs. 15-20cm dry snow overlaying supportive crust. New snow in early stages of storm slab formation. Some cracking when traversing above tracks but little propagation. We returned home in cloud before broken clouds and sun starting in afternoon , expect alpine snow to have solar effect. Skier accidental size 1 windslab on isolated wind loaded feature Sw aspect 2050 m where down slope winds/spindrift off the galleon coulior loaded a defined feature. Crown 5 m wide 5 to 40cm depth 45 deg ran 75m triggered from 10m below crown when traversing to moat at base of rock band. Snow had become noticeably wind effected and cracks from skiis just prior to slide. Skier carried 7m having fallen uphill. Not buried and able to stand and self extract. Abandoned objective (coulior) expecting more wind effect higher.</p>
